In the
traditional business world, I find that many of the
priorities of the Christian conflict with those given us
by our society. However, I have found that the values of
the Christian, as given us by Christ, are in fact the
values that customers seek. An advisor- client
relationship is not unlike any other relationship of
importance built upon trust. Though I see a conflict
between the world's ideals and sound business practices,
I see a direct relationship between Christ's ideals and
positive business relationships.
"How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers." Psalm 1:1
Paul tells us to give
special consideration to doing business with Christians.
Of course, we also are concerned with working with
advisors who are experienced, qualified, charge
reasonable rates and who have demonstrated the proper
concern for their clients. The bible has a lot to say
about money and financial planning. Following biblical
lessons on debt, stewardship, counseling, and moral and
ethical relationships is the goal my practice management.
