Amy L. Shappell, CFP® has a long time interest in economics, reaching back to her early childhood. She earned a BS in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Economics from the Ohio State University, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™(CFP®) Her prior experience includes customer service with a high tech firm, which taught her to listen and empathize, marketing for a bank and helping employees understand their employers’ retirement plans. Amy has several years’ experience at a large fee-only financial planning firm that primarily serves medical professionals.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys a variety of hobbies, including reading, baking, knitting, bicycling, traveling and spending time with her husband Mike, and their two teenage children.
