Michael W. Boone, CFP, CFA

Owner and founder of MWBoone and Associates, Michael is sought after as an expert in financial planning and investment management. He was recently named one of “America’s 250 Best Financial Advisers” by Worth Magazine and one of the Puget Sound area’s top “40 under (the age of) 40” business leaders. He regularly appears internationally on CNN television for counsel to lottery winners. His advice has appeared in the following publications among others:

After earning a BA in Business and Psychology from the University of Puget Sound where he played football and ran track, Michael began his financial career in private practice in Seattle in 1985. His clientele range from coast to coast and includes residents of six countries. Michael is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) professional and a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder (CFA), as well as being a Registered Principal with Linsco/Private Ledger and with various states as an insurance agent and a Registered Investment Advisor associate. Many of his licenses require substantial annual continuing education.

Michael is a member of the CFA Institute, the Financial Planning Association, The CFA Society of Seattle and the Financial Planning Association of Puget Sound. He is a member of the International Who’s Who in Finance. He is active in his church and does a substantial amount of volunteer work. Michael's passions and hobbies include helping people with their finances, speaking to young people about important life decisions, backpacking, deep wilderness experiences, international travel, motorcycle riding, studying great literature and writing.
