Our History


Over 20 years ago, while working for a large Wall Street investment firm, Michael W. Boone began envisioning a new kind of Wealth Management firm - one without the conflicts of interest that come from investment banking departments and sales quotas. A place where non-commissioned financial planning and investment management would be the centerpiece of the services, and individuals would be the only clients served - not large corporations or governments. An independent firm with the highest quality advisors, focused exclusively on helping clients toward their life goals and dreams. MWBoone & Associates, LLC is that firm.

We are not owned by a bank, a brokerage firm, or insurance company but are completely independent and management owned. Individuals like you are our only clients. We have no investment banking department and no self-produced products to conflict with our client's best interests, and yet we work with the largest financial service companies in the world.  Independence means access to "Best of Breed" financial services.

Michael was named one of "America's Top 250 Financial Advisors" by Worth Magazine. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER professional and a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), as well as a Registered Principal with LPL Financial. He has licenses with various states in life, health, disability and long term care insurance and as a Registered Investment Advisor associate. Many of these licenses require substantial annual continuing education.
